Steps to block someone from the Facebook application:

  • Type the name of the person in the search bar whom you want to block.
  • A list of all your friends with the same name will open on the screen.
  • Tap on the “Block” option next to their name to Block them.

Alternatively, you can also go to the person’s profile to get their Facebook blocked. You just have to open their profile and search for the block option on the menu. Click on the block option to block them instantly.

When you are blocking someone in Facebook and unblock them again, they won’t remain on your friend list. Either of you has to send a fresh friend’s request to add each other as your friends. However, if you only want to stop someone from sending you messages then we suggest you blocking on Fb messenger. This will make your things done without letting them know about it.
